Any idea what this is? Horse belongs to a mate of mine, and he hasn't a clue. I don't know anything about horses, just been helping feeding and mucking them out. Is this cause for concern? Should he call a vet? That'd be my instinct but again, I'm not an expert and it's not my horse.
